We have something extra special to begin Pioneer Day this year.  Father Dan Madigan will perform a special mass honoring the Pioneer Priests who served during the gold rush. One of them was Fr. Dan's great-grand uncle, Daniel O'Sullivan who reopened the Smartsville church after it was rebuilt and served as it's first resident pastor. He will be assisted in the mass by Tom DuHain who is also the Smartsville Pioneer Descendant of C.C. Duhain.
